Spoiler policy
No spoilers beyond where you stopped.
What we can honestly promise
- PlotRecall does contain spoilers. It has to: it exists to remind you what happened.
- What you can see is controlled by the position you select — the episode or point you have reached.
- Endings, deaths and reveals are withheld until you pass the point at which they happen.
- Choose your position accurately. If you tell PlotRecall you have finished a story, it will treat you as finished.
- SpoilerLock is applied to every published unit, but no system of this kind is infallible. A title, a heading or a related link can still imply more than intended.
- If something appeared earlier than it should have, report it. Spoiler-leak reports are treated as higher priority than ordinary factual reports.
How your position is used
Every published unit of story knowledge carries the earliest point at which it may be shown. When you set your position — an episode, a season, a point in a film — PlotRecall only serves units that are already permitted at that point. Later material is not hidden behind a click on the page; it is not sent to the page at all.
Choosing a later position, or the full story, is a deliberate act. If you ask for the whole story, PlotRecall will tell you the whole story, including the ending.
If something is revealed too early
Use the “Something wrong?” control on the page, or the corrections route, and choose a spoiler option. We record the position you had selected and which part of the page you were reading. You never have to retype the spoiler.
Spoiler-leak reports are reviewed ahead of ordinary factual reports.
