Affiliate and sponsorship disclosure

Affiliate mode is currently off, and PlotRecall is not currently configured as an Amazon Associate. While a programme is unconfigured, no commerce module for it renders at all — you will not see an empty shell or an untracked stand-in.

Where PlotRecall participates in the Amazon Associates programme, this sentence appears in the footer: “As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.” We do not display that sentence unless the relationship actually exists.

Commerce items are hand-picked because they relate to what you were just reading. They are labelled “Affiliate link” where you can see them, marked rel="sponsored nofollow noopener", and they point straight at the merchant — there is no hidden redirect chain and no interstitial.

Nothing you read — a recall, a fact, a comparison, a search result — changes position because of a commercial relationship, and no item is ranked by commission.

If a studio or partner ever funds a hub, quiz or refresher, it is labelled as sponsored on the surface where it appears, together with who paid for it. A sponsor can fund an experience. A sponsor cannot change a factual claim, remove or move a stopping point, alter a confidence or review state, edit a comparison, or affect organic discovery ranking. Sponsored material goes through the same editorial verification as everything else.

Advertising is disabled until a provider is genuinely configured. While it is off, no ad script loads, no slot is reserved, and no placeholder is drawn. Ads never appear inside a recall answer, between a spoiler warning and the content it guards, or on internal editorial tooling.

We do not display prices, discounts or star ratings. We do not hold that data, and we will not invent it.
